The Kenjya-Trusant Group, LLC is seeking a JAVA Software Engineer - Level III to support an existing contract in the Annapolis Junction area.
Duties, Responsibilities, and Tasks:
- Software development and maintenance of a large code base of Java, Apache Camel, Apache CXF and Spring.
- Assisting with updating documentation to reflect changes to the system, to include SOPs and knowledge modules
- Responding to break/fix actions
- Proactively and reactively identifying and resolving systemic problems
- Creating written mitigation procedures (SOPs) to use to resolve/mitigate known errors
- Performing additional installations, when applicable
- Gathering and reporting metrics on the number of incidents resolved
Qualifications:
- Clearance TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph (Must have prior to applying)
- Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required
- Four (4) years of additional SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted
- Experience
- Twenty (20) years of experience as SWE in programs of similar scope, type and complexity is required
- Experience with Java, Eclipse, Maven, GIT required
- Additional Experience with Camel, CXF, PostgreSQL, JUnit Tests, SoapUI, GitLab, Docker, JBoss Fuse (or ServiceMix), as well as experience with Linux is helpful
- Expertise with Ansible, VMWare, Redhat, Linux, Windows, Software deployments, Software builds, performance tuning, data population are all pluses
- Soft Skills
- Strong skills in problem solving needed.
- Good communication skills a must
