(OSS) Supervisor/Project Manager

Job Description:
Kenjya-Trusant is seeking a Supervisor/Project Manager to provide operational support services as outlined below to efficiently and effectively support the Department of State (DOS), Bureau of Administration, Office of Operations (A/OPR).

Clearance Requirement - Active Secret

DUTIES:
The Supervisor/Project Manager is responsible for the day-to-day oversight of the Contractor’s responsibility of the labor and moving services, the performance of the laborers, and ensuring the requirements of the work tickets submitted by GSM are met. Services will include office relocation and inter-office moving services, as well as supporting labor services for official functions Duties of the Supervisor include, but are not limited to:
 
  • Assign appropriate employees to work orders based on requirements of the request and provide a point of contact (POC) for each work order.
  • Ensure employees are wearing required attire and are both physically and mentally able to conduct the duties of their job prior to arriving on the job site.
  • Ensure company vehicles and equipment are maintained, serviceable, and available for use prior to the beginning of any work order.
  • Conduct site visits and/or walk though for major moves within annex’s and/or relocations.
  • Provide estimates for labor support.
  • Ensure Certificates of Insurance are updated and submitted to all State Department Annexes.
  • Coordinate work order tickets and timesheets for invoicing.
  • Perform all badging requirements, and security letters for special events, for employees for access into DOS Facilities.
  • Maintain employee records and personal information.
  • Maintain a constant hiring process for employees.
  • Train employees on standard moving practices and company and DOS policies.
 

QUALIFICATION/SKILLS REQUIRED:
 
  • A bachelor’s degree in business management or related field is preferred.
  • ​​​​​​​Must have excellent customer service skills, effective communication skills (written and verbal), personal initiative, interpersonal skills, and a high regard for safety.
  • Must be able to assign the appropriate personnel and vehicles to work tickets, provide reports, etc.
  • Ability to assess problems and solve them with a sense of urgency.
