POSITION:    Financial Manager - Senior
LOCATION:   San Antonio, Texas
REQUIRED CLEARANCE:   Public Trust / NACI
EDUCATION REQUIREMENT:    Bachelor Degree (Financially related degree)
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT:   10 years AF architectural and engineering management

Description: Support to the Facility Engineering Directorate supporting MILCON projects in technical services, mobility support forces design and construction, strategic design and construction, Pacific Operations and European operation.  OCONUS travel will be required.  

Requirements:
  • Experience in design and construction-related discipline
  • Experience in ACES, TRIRIGA, PMT, MXT, FMSUITE, ABSS, CRIS, DEAMS, EDA, WAWF
  • Expertise with AF financial management in all aspects of funding life-cycles including creating budgets and tracking expenditures thereof, use of appropriations, programming (UMMC, MILCON, and FSRM), execution, and construction databases
  • Knowledge in AF facility construction funding / financial systems
  • Managing the Planning and Design and Planning Charrette Report II project budget, spend plan, and checkbooks, and coordinating with leadership and staff, installations and other external organizations
  • Experience working in ABIDEs, Access, and Excel and creating charts and graphs to support presentations
  • Provide input and suggestions to senior management and executives
  • Support compliance with administrative and budgetary processes and procedures associated with AF 
  • Administrative support for military and federal civil service personnel including retirements, promotions, deployments, and permanent change of station
  • Provide training, lessons learned and best practices to technical and project management staff
  • Ability to coordinate access to facilities, set up briefings, and support visits by senior executives from stakeholder organizations
  • Ability to compile, consolidate and organize documents, presentations materials, and other information for senior leader review
  • Ability to track work assignments throughout networked organization and report completion status to management
