POSITION: Systems Engineer SME - Data Thread

The Kenjya-Trusant Group is looking for an SME Systems Engineer which will be supporting the Secure Enterprise Data Engineering (SEDE) branch of the Capabilities Directorate. Primary title is Thread System Engineer. The focus of this role is to manage the end-to-end workflow for transitioning all data feeds into the Cloud environment. Facilitates the workflow activities between users, data modelers, and implementers. Responsibilities include researching and documenting all information needed to support effective data modeling: mission use cases, data flow diagrams, required data fields to be modeled, planned repositories for storage, contact information for subject matter experts (SMEs) of the data, and relevant requirements for modeling in support of the customer. Secondary task is to help the Capabilities Integration and Planning division plan the development of new systems to meet mission requirements and specifications.
