POSITION: Systems Engineer SME - CNO (Computer Network Operations)
LOCATION: Annapolis Junction/Ft. Meade, MD 20701
REQUIRED CLEARANCE: TS/SCI with POLYGRAPH (must have before applying)
This position supports the CNO organization and assures agile and responsive attention to Mission Management and Mission Intelligence Customers’ requests for information (RFI) and other ad-hoc inquiries relating to CNO mobile and other areas. When information is not readily available via current data sets, the SE identifies other sources of information to formulate answers to RFIs. For regular or frequent inquiries, the SE shall identify along with other MM/MI strategies, mathematical algorithms, compliant queries and correlations that completes the solution.
The SE shall collaborate with the software development team to implement the strategy via software analytics.
The SE shall develop prototypes that demonstrate via Excel, Python, or other analyses. When official development is completed, the SE will review the results, cross-check the deliverable data with other sources in CNO tools, as well as verify formats, completeness, integrity, and reliability of the product.
The SE shall be responsible for developing and maintaining dashboards that track CNO tool performance metrics and display visualizations based on data sets resulting from the analytics. The SE shall present/brief the newly-developed dashboards to the Customer Community, promote its use, and seek feedback and enhancements to ensure the most complete solution.
The SE may be required to lead a project or product effort that defines and tracks a key program indicator. The SE shall define functional requirements for this effort.
