JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Senior Systems Engineer will provide systems engineering support for the implementation and execution of architecture and standards, systems engineering integration, evaluation and testing, field systems engineering and architecture efforts to assist a customer that advocates and facilitates interoperability, commonality, modernization and integration with the US SIGINT System.  The SE will provide analysis and recommendations to the customer organizations partners, system engineers, and management in support of advocacy, facilitation, development and integration of cross-domain tactical SIGINT capabilities. Provide SE services to assess and determine solutions for emerging expeditionary requirements; and support migration and sustainment of a large organization as it relocates. The SE will define, review, propose and develop process improvements for the SE document review and preparation process.  They will synchronize and coordinate the research, development, and continued improvement of the ISR capabilities to ensure alignment with enterprise architecture and standards.
 
MANDATORY EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
  • Bachelor’s degree in a qualified engineering field or a related discipline from an accredited college or univerisity plus a minimum of 15 years of general systems engineering experience.
  • *A Master’s degree or PhD may be substituted for two years of experience, for a total of thirteen (13) years of experience.
  • *A High School Diploma or GED plus nineteen (19) years of experience will also be considered
 REQUIRED SKILLS:
  • Extensive experience with systems engineering processes that support planning, scheduling and managing migration of existing projects and activities for an organization throughout its relocation.
  • Process improvement.
  • SIGINT experience.
DESIRED/PREFERRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
  • Experience in collaborating with peer organizations to overcome barriers to success and create shared solutions.
