Kenjya-Trusant is seeking a candidate to fill the role of an IT Help Desk and Microsoft SharePoint Support professional to provide with a high degree of tact and diplomacy, and knowledge of technical resources while serving as a systems support person within the East Asian Pacific Bureau.

Duties, Tasks and Responsibilities:
Systems Administration / User Help Desk Support (out-of-scope consolidated services) / Mobile Device Support (EAP Domestic & AIT/W)
  • Help Desk Support for server and workstation systems
    • Loading & configuring software, hardware
    • Desktop support and training
    • Microsoft SharePoint support and administration
    • Security updates to workstations using SCCM/SCOM
    • Training users, peers (applications, projects, systems, etc.)
    • Retrieving and/or performing tape backup functions
    • Support, troubleshoot, issue Laptops and various other mobile and smartphone devices
    • Performing, Assisting or/Managing assigned technical and administrative IT tasks
  • Ability to Provide backup contingency services
    • Backup and restore of EAP systems
  • Knowledge of teleconference and video conference technologies
    • Install, maintain, administer, operate telephone and digital video conference equipment
  • Regional Information Management Officer (RIMO) support
    • (Support) Assist, coordinate, and respond to support requests from EAP IT personnel overseas.
    • As directed, liaise with Information Resource Management (IRM) Bureau staff for consolidated service and coordinate IRM service to EAP domestic offices and EAP missions overseas.  
  • Technology Coordination
    • Stay abreast of current technologies to support the DOS EAP mission
    • Suggest areas of technology improvement
    • Recommend equipment purchases/upgrades
  • SharePoint Administration
    • Assist in SharePoint web part page creation
    • Assist in managing SharePoint site permissions
    • Ability to maintain the verify of SharePoint list types
The contractor shall assist with patching and upgrading drivers, Anti-Virus, BIOS update, Firmware update, and all application software updates as required to maintain operations of EAP systems and Dedicated Internet Networks (DINs).  Additionally, this task will require supporting configurations, installations, hardware, software applications, desktops, helpdesk and servers that are on the DOS EAP systems.
Clearance Requirement - The administrative support services employees performing on this task order require SECRET level Security Clearances with the ability to obtain and maintain a TOP SECRET security clearance if required. In some instances, SCI access may be required as well.
